I think my camera , then dishwasher, then dryer

Nothing loyal, Suave, V05, what ever is cheap.

6. Whose music are you really diggin' right now?
None just kids screaming and playing.
7. What is your favorite thing about the Fall?
I love the leaves changing and falling on the ground. I can never understand why people rake their leaves; they are way to pretty to put in a bag.

8. Do you have a GPS?
My husband does and I borrow it sometimes for my photo shoots. Its a great thing to have.

Well, the quote "three times a charm" finally came true tonight for our family. My father-in-law has ran for Mayor of Millington three times, and tonight he WON!!! We are so excited! He is so passionate about his town. They've had a family owned business since 1946 up until 2yrs ago when he decided that it was time to give it up. This is his dream and now he will live it for the next four years!

I don't know where all of that came from...but I thought I'd throw those out there. I'd love to hear your answers...here are mine.

1. Mostly in the living room, but sometimes on the kitchen table.

2. Washed? nah..just put in the dishwasher.

3.Of course I do. I dont answer calls from 800#'s etc. I cant stand to be harassed in the morning or evening to donate money.

4.All the time. I know I shouldnt but the gas light is always on.

5. Of course and you should be to! You have no right to complain if you dont vote.

6. No I cant eat dinner for breakfast and most of the time I dont even eat breakfast.

8. Yes for one can they not read! Second I dont want to smell like a smoke factory going in when I JUST took a shower. If they only realized how bad it stinks!

Well, a few days ago I was reading a photography forum about all the different lenses and what each does. So after reading about the 50mm f/1.4 lens and how every photographer said they LOVE it; I just had to have it! You have to spend money to make money is what I told my husband and so I got it in the mail yesterday. I tried it out this afternoon but deleted all the pics I took with it. Stupid me. Oh well, I have a session in the morning so I will let you know how they turn out.

Its always nice to open the mail box and get a surprise. I have had several surprises lately. I do apologize for not posting this sooner. I have had several photo shoots and getting my son ready to start kindergarten. First I got some wonderful tastefully simple Caribbean bread from Kelly. It was great and very easy to make thanks Kelly. I also received a sweet hello note from Kristin. Yvette made some really cute blogger cards to hand out to friends or family. And Jenny cracks me up! You can always tell if people read your blog. Jenny sent me a toothbrush b/c of my post about cleaning my house with one. I love it! Also some Crystal Light on the go which is fabulous b/c I love crystal light but I have never used the on the go packs, so thanks Jen. Thanks to everyone for all my good mail. Well I just noticed its upside down, but you get my point.lol

Was awesome!! It was so much fun and the boys had a blast. Hayden my 5 1/2yr old and my friend Sheila's little boy McCoy who is 2 1/2yrs both skied for the first time. AMAZING!
Of course they didn't stay up long but it was just crazy to watch them even get going at all. The boys tubed all week and Jackson thought it was the greatest thing. I was a little camera crazy with almost 400 pictures, but I never missed a moment! I got some great shots of the boys in the water. Hope you enjoy.

Well since Tina kinda put me up to this I will tell you about our last little trip before Hayden starts to Kindergarten. Last week my friend Sheila and I were run/walking at the gym and she said "how would you like to go to the lake house next week?" Gosh what a fabulous idea!! The last time boys and I went, it was 30 degrees &FREEZING. I am so excited. I have never been able to tube or anything of that nature with Hayden, so this will be so much fun. She tells me that Jackson my 20month old will also be able to ride on the tube with me. That will be a trip! You better bet I will have lots of pictures to show off next week. Daddy will be here working, but it will be very peaceful and lonely. Normally we go to Destin usually around September, but since Hayden will be starting school I hated to take him out. Now, we have decide to go to the beach in October. Just so happens that Steve & Shannon will be there too. Yes same resort. I really know why they wanted to be with us, is so I can take their family beach portraits. LOL shannon I'm sure we will have a blast. Stay tuned for next weeks fun boating pics.

Yesterday after church I had the most special photo session. Baby M was a very special surprise, and he is the last of five children. It was my very first baby session besides my own children who are always getting photographed. I loved every minute of it and they are such a sweet loving family. Normally it doesn't take me 2 hours to take photos but I had to just hold him and love him; he is just too sweet. He is going to be very spoiled with love! So lets see whats quirky about me:

First of all I like my towels folded a certain way;tri-fold to be exact. If you can't fold it the way I want it , then don't fold my laundry at all.
2. quoting my husband.."I get several projects going, but don't finish the first one until later. Yes I know, I should finish one and then start on another.
3. I cant stand my tooth brush to sit out on the counter all day. That to me is so nasty. I think a fly might land on it and poop or something. Must be protected and in a drawer.
4. When it comes to cleaning my house, I use a tooth brush.When I clean, I do it right! I am very picky around the toilet. I clean the toilet with my hand and a wash cloth. Yes, most of you might think that is gross, but you can't get your toilet truly clean using a brush.
5.I am picky when it comes to the pantry. I like beans w/beans, & corn w/corn, ect. Breakfast items are all on one shelf. I know where to find all my stuff.
6. I can't stand people who mooch for money when they smoke or drink alcohol. Don't tell me your broke and have no money when you go out to eat 3 or more times a week.There is no pity here.
7. Honestly I'm not to quirky...
8. I like things MY way.

Okay, so I'm way behind on blogging, & I'm sure it won't be the last. I have been working on my photography blog. I have finally decided that after nine years of wanting to take portraits, that its finally time. I have so much passion and love taking photos of my kids and everyone else that I got my price list together and started the blog to post pictures on. I have taken pictures of several people before, but never came out w/ a price list. So I guess you could say I have my first session next Thursday. I am so excited and I can't wait.Be sure to check out my other blog next week.
I have so much to do this week:
1. finish making a baby boy Jon Jon romper for a gift
2. finishing making a pacifier holder
3. redo a photo purse
4. make Jackson 2 rompers ( which can wait)
5. take Jackson's 20 month pics this weekend

Is that ENOUGH?! Gosh where is all the time? Btw, I am training for a half marathon in Dec. I have now been running for about 7 weeks on a program. Today I did 4 miles with my best friend Stephanie whom has ran a few marathons. She's one tough cookie. I don't want you to think I ran all four b/c I didn't. I ran the first mile, ran most of the second, and ran/walk the third, and walked the fourth to cool down. I don't know if you can cool down in TN. It is so humid here. At least that's behind me for today. Well, hopefully I will some day get better at posting.

Hot Summer Day's are so much fun

The past two days have been so much fun. I took the boys to Dollar Tree and you would've thought it was Santa's workshop. I didn't even put Jackson in a basket, just to see what he would go for and he loves balls. He carried this Cinderella ball all over the store until I put it back and he got so made. We have a 100 balls around the house. I actually went in there to get the boys a few more fun floats for the waterpark. The have all the characters like Spiderman, Shriek, etc. for just a buck. One item we found was a pack of 100 water bombs. It even came with a valve to hook on your waterhose, for quick filling. We made about 20 balloons, and had so much fun throwing them at each other. I didn't take any pics b/c I was a player. Haha

Our Seattle Vacation

Well, our flight was leaving at 9:45 and we left our house close to 8, which was a little scary. It takes us about 40 min to get there and on top of things we were parking our truck at the "fast park". This was our first time to use that service and I highly recommend it. Then you should have seen us trying to take in 4 pieces of luggage w/two car seats and 3 carry on's, & oh and I need not to forget that Jackson was in a stroller. We finally got on the plane. What a sigh of relief. So looking at our itinerary we think our first flight is 2hr and approx 17mins. Pilate comes on "Thank you for flying NWA our approx. flight time is 1hr 17mins. My husband turns to me and says"what?" that means our next flight is like 31/2 hrs with a 19months old and a 5 1/2yr old who is constantly saying" are we almost there?" I swear if I hear that one more time. Finally after a 4hr &40 min second flight we arrive. SO GLAD. We gain 2hrs but our poor children are still living on our time zone. I think we got to be around 12:45 our time. Very tired people=grouchy people. Anyways, we had a wonderful time. The weather was PERFECT!! I was so worried going from 95* to 55*. What do you pack?! I would sure live there if I could. The boys got to meet there great-grandmother for the first time. It was sweet. Also, my husbands brother Kris lives there and the boys got to meet his mom for the first time and her dog Lulu. For the first time Jackson said Lulu and puppy on this trip; it was the cutiest thing ever. Maybe I will post that. The parks there were amazing and thats all Hayden wanted to do. We took a train ride up the mountain on Father's Day. We just had alot of fun and it was so good to see everyone. Kris is such a fabulous uncle to the boys. The biggest lesson learned was to take a direct flight next time. Now looking forward to Destin in Oct. Love that beach. Pictures coming.....

Well, we finally got back from a beautiful Seattle vacation, which I will post on later. I was so surprised to open the mail and see all this great "Good Mail" in my mail box. I got this cute little notebook from Tina that has my initial "C "on the front. Great to just put in my purse. Thanks. I got some goodies from Kelli. She must know that Extra is my favorite gum and I love chocolate. Last but not least, I got some great ice cream certificates from Mc'D's. What a perfect idea, my boys love McDonalds. Thank you all so much for making my day! This has been so much fun and I will be sending some Good Mail real soon.

Well not very often at the salon. I do them myself. I just did a french manicure on my feet a few weeks ago and it still looks good. I don't like forking out $40 for a half_ _ _ job! Everytime I go for a manicure that do a crappy job and always try and rush and knowing that my cuticles are still half way up my nail. So I do it myself too.

Finally, I know I haven't blogged in forever! Seems like there is never enough time. I can't stay up til midnight to put my post in like Tina. Ha. This week is crazy too, packing and getting ready for Seattle on Saturday. Crazy thing is its 52 degrees for the high there. Oh my GOSH!! Hello people its 95 here! I'm sure we will all have head colds when we get back, but it is SO beautiful there. I will have lots of pics to share when we get back maybe even before.
This week Jackson (18mos) had his very first haircut which I will post about later. Also, my baby turns 19 months tomorrow. How sad....Time fly's by. Today we went to the gym and then played at the waterpark afterwards with my friend Shannon. Her little girl Emmerson just LOVED the pool. Hope they join and so glad Tina did. Lots of fun times & great tans for some of us. Haha she knows who I'm talking about. One thing I'm so glad about is that Tina is back to pitch for our softball team. I had to fill in last Thursday night which I didnt know about until that day when our coach called me. I only have pitched fast pitch and we play slow pitch; Big difference! Go TINA!!!!

And for those of you who live around here, I will soon be taking semi-professional pictures when I get my new camera. I have my price list for whoever is interested. I have been taking pics off and on for the last 8 yrs. I love it! Tina has proof of what I can do. I got some beautiful pics of Ella last month.

Well, as always we are a busy family. Yesterday we had a day at the YMCA waterpark. Lots of fun. I think Hayden slid down the slide a hundred times. It is so hot here already.

Today I had a garage sale with a good friend of mine and I swear people want stuff for free! Ex: I had a pair of cowboy boots that were approx $100 or more new and yes they were pretty worn. The lady said "how much" I said "$2" she said " will you take $1" I thought gosh lady! but I answered "I guess" she said " it will cost me atleast $25 to resole them". What ever lady she will NEVER resole them get real and take'm. People need to realize that we also have to buy for the now thats why we are selling our stuff, come on. Anyways, I did pretty good about $280 profit, so not bad for a 95 degree Saturday.

Well, when I got home me and the boys went outside to play and I took a few photos of course.

Slackin on the bloggin

Gosh we have been so busy around here. I had a wonderful Mother's Day. My boys made a card for me that is so sweet; hubby even bought construction paper to make it! I didn't want anything mainly b/c I buy what ever I want myself plus we are about to go to Seattle in 3 wks. All I really wanted was to take down the wrought iron storm door and repaint it and clean the glass so it will look new again. I have been wanting that for about 5 yrs now so what better than my mothers day gift.

This past weekend Hayden and I went camping just over night at Village Creek in AR. Its only 1 1/2 hours so that's the best part. We meet up with some friends and grill out hamburgers for dinner and pancakes for breakfast. I got to go horseback riding with my friend Sheila and her father-in-law Fri. night before dinner while her mother-in-law (my boss) watched the boys. We had awesome weather and a great time. I wish we could've stayed long but we had to be back for church on Sunday.

Then Sunday night Hayden graduated from preschool. I cant believe that he will be going to kindergarten this August. Time really does fly. He is so smart and he really enjoyed going to school this year. He had a wonderful Christian teacher Mrs. Beth. I wish we could take her with us to kindergarten. One thing we wont miss is the 1 hr round trip drive in the morning and afternoon. His new school will be a block away we cant wait.

Monday and Tuesday I work so no time for play.... Wed. went to the gym and took my best friends little girl home while her daddy is in the hospital. Today went to the gym, ran by the store came home and cleaned my neglected kitchen floor, cleaned the back patio off so we could finally grill out and have dinner outside. I love eating outside when the weather is nice. Now I am exhausted! Back to the gym in the morning. Hope you all have a great Memorial Day weekend. ( ribs will be served here)hee..he.

So, this weekend I took over 194 pictures. Sound crazy or what?! I'm so addicted to taking pictures and then editing them to see what I can create. I found this awesome free editing site. Its truly amazing what it can do. Its free and no downloading. No more photoshop! So now I've probably spent about 5 hours between last night and today just playing around with some pictures I took of my precious & most handsome boys.

Well, I go to bed anything between 9 -10:30 p.m and wake up at 6:30 every morning. I hardly ever get up during the night unless one of the kids need me. So now you know.

Okay so I was tagged by Tina
to say a few things about me. I'm not that interesting really.

1. Well, I truly have a passion for photography. Before I had my first son which is now 5, I took pics on the side mainly for pleasure and to see the out come. I recently got a new camera thecanon SD850, & just now I am able to play around with it. I originally bought it so we are able to take pics underwater. Anyways, I love it. My next buy will be the Canon XTi.

2. Well, I was raised on a I guess you could say "farm". We had just about every animal known to man, a few baby calves, lots of horses, a pig every now and then, ducks, geese, Oh and let me not for get the goats. I think at one time we had over 150 rabbits. Lots and lots of work. I have always rode horses up until I graduated high school and then it was boys of course.We used to ride a the Millington Saddle Club & sometimes Woodstock.I wish I had one now, but not the responsibility.

3.I love the outdoors and love,love,love to play softball.I will be honest I am a very sore looser. I played basketball in high school mainly on the bench, go figure I'm 5'2.

4.I guess one weird thing I can do is flip my eye lids like this. Some people might tell you they will stay that was, but that's not true.You can really scare people! Ha

5.Every year we travel to Destin, Fl where we adore the beach. It is absolutely gorgeous. Here is where we have stayed the past 4 years.Our children love the pool and the beach is crystal clear. They have wonderful restaurants and LOTS of shopping! I would love to be a travel agent for this destination.

6. Most of you may know this already but I have been making and selling candles the past six years. I also create picture purses. Tina so graciously designed my fabulous blog for me. Now maybe we can work on a candle blog hint hint. I guess that would entitle some free candles.

7.This will seem funny to a few. I was raised in a Penacostal Church up until about the age of 13 & now I'm a Southern Baptist. I will never forget the day Dan was teaching Sunday School class and was making fun of the Penacostal religion.Then I told him I grew up in that church & I think he could've craweled under the table. Of course, I thought it was funny and it didnt bother me. You just never know...

Well, I told you I didn't have any weird things about me and not very interesting either. If I do think of more I will be sure to add it to my blog.

Finally Hayden has learned how to swing himself. Yeaaaaaaaaaaa! No more pushing, except for Jackson of course. I think its great and so does he. He now can go real high! Go Hayden.

Yesterday was an awesome kite flying day. Hayden got to fly his first kite all by himself.
Daddy had a brilliant idea of pulling the boys in the wagon behind the lawnmower. The boys LOVED it! Maybe I should hitch a ride. ha

Well, its been forever since I added to this new blog. I can't seem to find the time I need for all my hobbies and my boys. Of course my boys are more important than this computer. ha
Speaking of computer I got a new one. YEHHHHHHH! Thank goodness for my wonderful brother-n-law Kris for hooking us up. He was here for almost a week and the boys were so glad to see him. Hayden loves his uncle Kris! We all had the stomach virus which was TERRIBLE! I will have to add photos later since I took them with Kris's camera.duh..

Today was a fun family day outside in the beautiful white snow. Hayden & Jackson had so much fun. Daddy built a 6ft snow man so we could make a cute family photo. I usually don't choose to go outside and freeze my toosh off, but today was an exception. We made some beautiful photos and great memories. Why can't we have a white Christmas?
